Today me and my mom went to Jones Beach to see the rehearsals for the air show that is going to be put on this memorial day weekend. we thought it was just going to be an hour long thing with just maybe a plane or two practicing a few maneuvers but it turned out that they were doing a complete dry run of the entire show. They even had an announcer announcing all the different maneuvers that the planes were doing. There were a bunch of different planes, some old and some new, including an F-22 Raptor and the Blue Angels. It was really cool. The airplanes flew in over our heads really low! it was so loud you could feel the rumbling in your body. There were also other planes that were doing "sky dancing" which was pretty neat to watch. We ended up staying for close to three hours watching the show. It was probably the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Here are some photos I took. It was hard to take good pictures because the planes kept going by so quickly.
